Consider bringing your own linens, as the provided ones were lacking during my stay.

The bathroom was nice, and I loved having AC to chill out. The pool area was inviting, and it was just a short walk to the beach.

Rooms need deep cleaning!!! Furniture shows age and poor maintenance!!! Noise from outside made it hard to sleep!!! Parking situation is terrible, with distant options!!!

The pool area was a lovely retreat for my family, and the cleanliness of our room was impressive. However, we struggled to find parking, which was a bit inconvenient.

I loved the beachfront location at Aztec Ocean Resort. Just a short walk to the boardwalk and access to the beach made it super convenient. The pool area was inviting and provided a nice spot for relaxing. However, the room cleanliness wasn't up to par. We found old swim trunks in a drawer and the fridge wasn't clean. Check-in was quick, and the staff were friendly, which made us feel welcome right away. The noise from the street kept us up at night, though, and parking was a hassle since spaces were limited. Quite a few things could use a little TLC to enhance the stay.

The room was pretty basic but clean. We had a nice view of the boardwalk, but it was super loud at night. The shower was decent but didn’t have a grab handle, which was a bit inconvenient. The housekeeping staff was friendly, but the overall feel of the place was a little tired. Parking was a challenge too, had to hunt for spots a couple of times. Not the worst, but not a fancy stay either.

interesting decor but questionable cleanliness
Watching the lights flicker when we flushed the toilet was oddly entertaining. The modern art piece on the bathroom door, featuring what seemed to be paint but was likely something much less pleasant, definitely added a unique touch. The location near the beach provided easy access to the shore, which was a highlight for our group.
The overall hygiene of the room left much to be desired.

A welcoming stay by the beach
The location was fantastic, just a short stroll to the ocean. The staff was always cheerful and helpful, making us feel at home during our visit.
However, we had issues with the room's cleanliness. There were some leftover items from previous guests that were quite unexpected and quite off-putting.

Fantastic location right by the beach and boardwalk. A lovely pool area for lunch! We loved the renovated bathroom and the overall comfortable stay, especially when we extended our trip by a day.
The hotel felt a bit like a time capsule from the '70s, and I swear I heard a ghost snoring next door! Just not the five-star getaway I dreamed of.
